ABOUT THE ROLE
At FlyRank, we’re building AI-native growth infrastructure that helps companies scale organic acquisition through SEO, AEO, GEO, and programmatic content systems.
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead the development of production-grade AI systems that power our platform — from LLM orchestration and retrieval pipelines to evaluation frameworks and automation infrastructure.
This role is highly hands-on and impact-driven. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to turn modern AI capabilities into reliable systems that ship, scale, and directly influence customer growth outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will architect, build, and scale the AI systems that form the technical core of FlyRank’s growth platform.

Design and implement LLM orchestration systems and retrieval-augmented pipelines.

Build scalable AI infrastructure, including evaluation layers, reliability frameworks, and monitoring systems.

Optimize model performance, latency, cost, and output quality in production environments.

Develop internal tools and APIs to integrate AI features across the platform.

Collaborate with Product, SEO, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Build experimentation and validation pipelines with metrics-driven evaluation.

Ensure operational excellence, scalability, and system resilience across AI services.
REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for a senior engineer with strong system design skills and hands-on experience building production AI systems.

5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML systems, or backend infrastructure.

Strong proficiency in Python and solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.

Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval systems, or similar AI infrastructure.

Experience deploying and maintaining systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).

Strong problem-solving ability and comfort operating in a high-autonomy environment.

Experience building production-grade APIs and scalable backend services.
NICE TO HAVE

Experience with vector databases and long-context retrieval systems.

Familiarity with prompt orchestration frameworks and AI workflow automation.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Background in SEO, growth systems, or data-heavy platforms.
