ABOUT THE ROLE
At FlyRank, we’re building AI-native growth infrastructure that helps companies scale organic acquisition through SEO, AEO, GEO, and programmatic content systems.
As a Technical SEO Expert, you will own the technical foundation of organic growth — building and improving systems that make search performance scalable, measurable, and reliable across FlyRank and our customers.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, AI, and SEO teams to turn technical SEO into infrastructure: automation, tooling, performance improvements, and programmatic growth systems that compound over time.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will lead technical SEO initiatives and build scalable systems that improve how FlyRank and its customers are discovered and ranked.

Own technical SEO performance across crawling, indexing, rendering, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals.

Build and maintain automation for audits, monitoring, and SEO issue detection at scale.

Improve internal linking, metadata systems, canonicalization, and structured data (schema) implementations.

Partner with engineers to implement SEO best practices across product and web infrastructure.

Develop programmatic SEO systems that support large-scale page generation and optimization.

Work with AI teams on workflows that improve relevance, quality, and discoverability.

Define technical SEO metrics and dashboards that connect improvements to measurable growth outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for a strong engineer who deeply understands how search engines work and can translate that into scalable technical systems.

5+ years of experience in technical SEO, web engineering, growth engineering, or similar roles.

Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks; Python is a plus.

Deep understanding of crawling, indexing, rendering, canonicalization, and technical SEO fundamentals.

Experience improving performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals on real, high-traffic sites.

Ability to drive projects end-to-end with high ownership and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Strong analytical mindset: comfortable using data to diagnose issues and validate impact.
NICE TO HAVE

Experience with programmatic SEO and large-scale content systems.

Familiarity with log analysis, crawling tools, and SEO observability pipelines.

Experience with schema at scale, internationalization (hreflang), and multi-site architectures.

Understanding of AI-driven content systems, retrieval workflows, or evaluation frameworks.

Experience working in fast-moving startup environments.
